X-Plane UDP Xperimenter
About...
Xperimenter allows you to easily generate custom UDP packets to experiment
with X-Plane. Each data value may be packed as an integer or a float, and
the final output buffer is displayed below the selection buttons.
Download
Download Xperimenter 1.0 by clicking here. (200KB)
Quick Start
- First enter the IP address of the machine running X-Plane, and click the
SET button.
- Enter the index value you wish to use, and click the 'Int' button below.
- For each of the 8 data values, enter values and click either the Int or
Flt buttons to load the values into the send buffer.
- When the buffer is complete - click the 'Send' button.
Notes:
Sometimes, X-Plane will refuse to acknowledge incoming data packets unless
the address of the sending machine has been set on it 'Settings | Internet
Connections' page. If your data doesn't seem to be getting through, enter
the IP address of the machine running Xperimenter as the Data Receiver.
